Digital Black and White

My entire photographic career began in southern California near the San Diego metropolitan area. This intriguing passion began in late 2005. In the beginning, most if not all of my portraiture was completely experimental and little did I know how my craft would evolve. During this time, I was fascinated with the contrast in capturing a black and white moment. To this day, I have learned so much more when it comes to the difference in using digital and monologue cameras that are loaded with black and white film. I have a profound respect for the antique, vintage aesthetic. This web portfolio will give you an idea of the many visions that I have come across and I want to personally thank you for taking the time in visiting my journey.

Importance of Locations

There are many advantages of being a traveling photographer. One of the greatest benefits is getting the wonderful opportunity of meeting great and fascinating people. I have traveled to many states all across America. States such as California, Georgia, Iowa, Nevada, Oklahoma, and Texas.

“Who Does That?”

This particular project was by far one my most challenging assignments to this day. Having to create an entire portfolio using a film camera (Mamiya 645 J) and one light source within a 10 week time frame. This project was done and created while attending the Savannah College of Art and Design located in Savannah, Georgia. I traveled to other states such as North Carolina and South Carolina to collaborate with models to help me get this idea together. I am very grateful with the people I worked with that were able to help me get this project to life.
